Making his first ever headline appearance in the city, Mr Worldwide delivered a hit-packed set that had the huge crowd singing and dancing along from start to finish, while a stacked supporting bill featuring Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, Lil Jon and Los Tucanes de Tijuana ensured the energy never dipped.
Fresh from sold-out shows around the world, Pitbull arrived armed with an arsenal of global chart favourites including Timber, Give Me Everything, Fireball and Don’t Stop the Party. Backed by dazzling production and a crowd fully committed to the occasion, the festival’s first Friday night felt every bit the major summer event organisers had promised.
Elsewhere, Jason Derulo showcased the pop star power that has made him one of the most streamed artists on the planet, Tinie Tempah rolled back the years with a set packed with UK rap classics, Lil Jon brought his trademark crunk energy, and Los Tucanes de Tijuana added a vibrant dose of norteño flavour to an already international bill.
