On new release Love Needs A Messenger, Americana troubadour JD Hinton has delivered a beautiful piece of work that simply drips with warmth and optimism.

JD seems to draw particular influence from the socially conscious tradition of the folk/Americana genre, using Love Needs A Messenger to provide a gentle (albeit timely) reminder of the power of being kind. There’s also something of a country hint to the tune, both in terms of JD’s vocal style and the style of the song, making for one track that listeners across the board should love. The piano chords and steady rhythm only add to the warm lyrical content, turning Love Needs A Messenger into a song that simply demands to be heard by all.
