The five-piece have built impressive momentum over the last few years, evolving from viral cover videos into one of the UK’s most talked-about emerging guitar bands. Recent single Mundane showcases a heavier, grungier edge to their sound, pairing huge riffs and memorable melodies with lyrics that explore the frustrations and repetition of everyday life. The track offers another glimpse into an ambitious debut record that promises to tackle both personal and societal themes with equal honesty.
Having earned support from BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, alongside praise from publications including Rolling Stone UK, The Independent and Dork, The Guest List’s rise has been fuelled as much by their live reputation as their recorded output. Festival appearances at Glastonbury, TRNSMT, Reading & Leeds and support slots alongside major names including Blossoms, DMA’S and Inhaler have helped establish a devoted and rapidly expanding audience.
With Something Real arriving shortly before the tour begins, the Leeds show gives fans an opportunity to hear the new material live as the band enter what looks set to be a breakthrough chapter.
The Guest List will appear in an in-store at Jumbo, Leeds on 21 August and play at Project House on Wednesday 25 November 2026.
