Dutch rock artist Raven is a new discovery of mine, but I liked her new song Broken Glass so much, that I’m sure we’ll be sharing her music again very soon (hopefully anyway!)

Broken Glass sees Raven unleashing her dark, atmospheric form of rock music upon the world – it’s a tense and clearly emotionally charged single that explores the topics of emotional breaks, lingering trauma and the painstaking journey that true healing can take. It’s quite gritty at times, yet it all sounds expertly produced, featuring some lovely guitar licks, fused with a poppy sound and a singalong chorus that will get in your head straight away. Raven has a wonderful singing voice too, full of passion and emotion, providing a cathartic listen that explodes sonically at the end in a fabulous way.

Broken Glass is a must listen from me!
