We’ve actually featured the main members of BLØSMM before, as the core duo were also part of Jane N’ The Jungle, a rock band we’ve covered several times over the years. With BLØSMM, the Arizona-based duo (consisting of Jordan White and Brian Dellis) have officially turned the page to create a powerful new creative chapter in their musical history. Poser is actually their debut single release, coming from their upcoming concept album, Archer and Ego (keep your eyes peeled for more from BLØSMM in the near future!

Whilst the term Poser is often used as an insult in the world of music, here BLØSMM have managed to flip the term inwards, enabling them to confront the primary theme of the song, which seems to be about wearing a metaphorical mask to please others. It’s great to hear that White and Dellis are still creating songs with a rock and roll energy, but the synths on Poser also add something extra special into the mix, alongside the heavy guitar riffs. It’s still fairly catchy overall though, with frontwoman Jordan’s vocals truly soaring on Poser, making for a song that should immediately lodge itself in your head on the very first listen.
