Inspired by the atmosphere of a pub jam session, The Open Arms combines live performances, collaboration and connection, creating a space where established names and rising talent can share a stage.
Having already taken the concept to venues including Moth Club, XOYO Birmingham and The Old Blue Last, Simpson’s latest stop saw another packed room gathered around a line-up celebrating the spirit of live music. More than just a gig, The Open Arms aims to support new artists navigating an increasingly challenging industry while also raising awareness and funds for charitable causes.
Our photos from the Manchester show capture the energy of the performances and the close-knit atmosphere that has quickly made The Open Arms one of the most talked-about grassroots music events around.
