Radio Free Alice Are Coming To Leeds

Australian post-punk risers Radio Free Alice return to Leeds on Wednesday 18 November, playing Brudenell Social Club as part of an extensive UK/EU tour.

It’s their biggest run through the city yet, and comes off the back of a breakout year that’s included slots at Reading Festival, Chicago’s Riot Fest and Austin City Limits — a fair distance from the near-empty festival tent York Calling caught them in back in 2024, before word properly got around.

The Leeds date follows the announcement of the band’s long-awaited debut album, What’s In Between, due 30 October via Atlantic Records. It’s led by new single “Crying With You”, a riff-heavy, dancefloor-leaning track written during a desert writing retreat in California and shaped in the studio by Peter Katis (Interpol, The National) and Ewan Pearson (Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand). Frontman Noah Learmonth has described finally setting an album release date as cathartic, after years of living with songs that only existed within the band.

The record was pieced together across three continents, and reflects a band whose rise has been just as international: six sold-out London shows in a single month last year, sold-out debut performances in New York, and a recent guerrilla pop-up gig under a South London railway that drew hundreds on no notice at all. Support slots for Geese and The Killers back home in Australia have only added to the momentum.

For Leeds audiences who caught a glimpse of them at Live at Leeds two years ago, this is the fuller picture — a band now playing to rooms that match the size of their ambition.

What’s In Between is out 30 October, and you can listen to “Crying With You” below.

Radio Free Alice will play at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
