Black Rose Ball 2017 – The Concert

This weekend saw the return of the Black Rose Ball to York. The two night extravaganza started with a concert on Friday at The Hospitium in the Museum Gardens before attendees donned their masks for a masquerade ball on Saturday at De Grey Rooms. Black Rose Ball – Night Two

On Saturday night, De Grey Rooms was transformed into a vampire’s lair thanks to the annual fundraiser the Black Rose Ball. Its ghoulish inhabitants gathered all in the name of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, a charity set up after the tragic loss of its namesake, who was attacked for simply for the way she looked.
