EP Review: Bull – Love Goo

What a year it’s been for local alt-rockers Bull! They’ve been building a solid base of popularity here in York since 2011 and never fail to draw a crowd. Now they’ve hit the national conscience, being championed by Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6, Huw Stephens and Clara Amfo on BBC Radio 1 and have even drawn acclaim from Elton John. York’s Little Festival of Live Music – Night Six

Last Friday, York’s Little Festival of Live Music went acoustic pop. The annual fundraiser for York Mind that runs on Parliament Street alongside the York Food And Drink festival entertained the punters with fours acts, starting with acoustic duo Kitty VR, followed by punk four-piece Bull and concluding with soloist Andy Doonan and rockers The Blueprints.
