An open and frank confession about the impact of addiction, it comes complete with a stark video directed by Damien Blue. It’s taken from his new album Palladium and is called My Dying Spirit.

Maddie Ashman is a British singer songwriter whose sound has been compared to Orla Gartland and Dodie. She’s also been picked up by BBC 6 Music, who described her as music as “poised, transparent and very lovely.” I was keen to check her out for myself. Her latest is called 6AM.
