Album Review: Widespread Haze – Move

One of the few silver linings of the COVID pandemic was that it allowed many of us to take pause and think about our priorities. This was the case for Roseburg, USA-based blues rock outfit Widespread Haze. With studios shut and gigs off the menu due to the pandemic restrictions, the trio set about recording their debut album themselves. Move is the result.

Hertfordshire-based The Pink Nostalgia, real name Joseph James, has appeared on the blog a couple of times already this year. Back in August I ran the rule over his emotionally-charged track Flowers. Now he’s back with a live reimagining of it, recorded at North Acre Studios.
