Music Day at The Fulford Arms

Exciting news as the lineup has been finalised for the upcoming live music all dayer to be hosted by the Fulford Arms on 23rd April.

YORK ALL DAYER FULL POSTERYork’s own Bull are to headline the event which will be showcasing a plethora of talented new bands from in and around York and the wider Yorkshire area. Bull’s music has been described as “instant, full of raw energy and guaranteed to get you hooked” by BBC Introducing’s Jericho Keys, while stylistically they have drawn favourable comparisons with The Pixies, Dinosaur Jr. and Wolf Alice.

Joining Bull will be five-piece indie/funk band I Set The Sea On Fire, a band who have garnered praise from BBC2’s Demot O’Leary and BBC Introducing Sheffield’s Christian Carlisle and who’s appearance will be hot on the heels of their debut album ‘Sleep Now Suburbia’. Also included on the dozen-strong bill are BBC Introducing Humberside darlings Recruits, the white hot No Nothings and atmospheric indie pop/rockers Four Authors.

When asked about the all dayer, event promotor Sam Christie enthused “We are showcasing some of York’s best up-and-coming bands alongside a whole host of regional touring artists across one exciting day of live music, it’s going to be amazing!”

Tickets are priced at £5.00 and are available on the door so get there early to avoid disappointment. The event is set to run 1pm-11pm.
