Next week the Fireball Tour starts, with a fantastic lineup of bands including Mariachi El Bronx, The Skints, and headliners Less Than Jake. Also featured at the Sheffield date are DJ Matt Stocks, Kemuri, and local band Sweet Little Machine. Considering that tickets are only a tenner, this looks like an excellent gig at a ridiculously cheap price so don’t miss out!
Musicians Against Homelessness

Friday 30 September, 7:30pm
Part of a series of national events in order to raise funds for Crisis, the homeless charity, York’s date will also showcase a fine, eclectic mix of local talent. Young and sickeningly talented Laura Kindelan will open, followed by Jimbo Doomface, Paul Bryce, Van der Neer and ending with indie-rock headliners Lost Trends.

National Centre for Early Music
Monday 3rd October, 7:30pm
NCEM brings together four of Scotland’s finest fiddle players, Jenna and Bethany Reid, Lauren MacColl and Anna Massie. Using just their fiddles, they weave a rich and vibrant tapestry of melodies, textures, layers and sounds across a wide repertoire of traditional, modern and self-penned tunes.
