Waiting on a Storm is taken from local indie band Vuromantics’ debut EP. The Editor-esque mellow melodrama plays beautifully over a visually unsettling collage of the band performing, film excerpts and backwards fireworks creating a provocative scene. Check out the video below.

Dark Pop newcomers Vuromantics burst into action at the start of 2017 with a surprise band reveal, single release and full UK tour announcement just weeks into the new year. The band was forged from the ashes of two of Sheffield’s finest underground bands Stop Drop Robot & Monoking.

Waiting On A Storm is the title track from the bands upcoming debut EP of the same name. The track features piano, synthesizers, bass, drums and a lead vocal that explores the idea of “starting a new chapter in your life.” You’ll be able to catch Vuromantics at the Fulford Arms on 19 March as part of their headline tour.
