The video for London post rock four piece Useless Cities’ new single A Little Too Obtuse tells of the rise, fall and rise again of love.

I have to confess, I’m a sucker for some grandiose post rock. Useless Cities fit the bill perfectly with climaxing, layered guitar, keys and vocals. There’s a touch of the Goth in the vocals which made for an interesting twist on your normal post rock outfit.

Yet, it’s probably the video for A Little Too Obtuse that really holds the attention. It tells the story of three relationships starting, hitting some roadbumps and then returning to the status quo. It’s a simple story but so human in nature you can’t help but be gripped. Check it out below.
