Walking Bicycles are a post-punk band from Chicago who have returned from a five-year hiatus with blunderbuss track Fat Cat.

Fat Cat is, simply put, a well-put-together punk track. Simple, repeating riffs lull you into a trance before brassy vocals shake you out of it. There’s enough edge for hardcore punk fans and yet accessible enough for those not usually inclined towards the genre. That’s quite a feat.
Walking Bicycles have five albums under their belt so they are by no means new to the music scene, but it’s been five years between their last record and their new one: Cooch. It feels like the right time for them to be picking up new fans, and you can count me among them. Check out Fat Cat below.
