Over this festive period, we’ve got a chance to look back at some of the artists we got to hear this year but never shared with you. Next up is British indie folk artist Bjorn Vale (a pseudonym for singer songwriter Daniel Hopkinson-Brown) with his track Echoes.

Echoes is a downbeat and atmospheric track, pointing to something unknown and inexplicable. Daniel explains that this track is about the death of a loved one and that comes across loud and clear through the lyrics and arrangement. The electric guitar reverberates as Daniel delivers his plea to the void.
