This year, we’re doing something different with our playlists, making it easier to find your new favourite track.

In 2020, the tracks we love will be divided between four playlists on Spotify.
Pop Sensibilities
For anyone who loves your music chart-friendly, we’ve got Pop Sensibilities. The playlist kicks of with under the radar pop gems from Niki Black, Madison Beer, Haley Sullivan and Tessa Kaye.
The Rock Cycle
If you’re a little grungier then you might enjoy The Rock Cycle. In there we’ve got indie rock a la Sea Girls, punk from Mystery Rose and hard rock from Freedumb. You’ll also find local music from Mary And The Ram.
Folked Up
For all you folk, acoustic, Americana and country lovers we have Folked Up featuring Evran, Didirri, Ren Geisick and York’s very own Jade Cuttle.
Something Different
Finally if you like to emphasise the “discover” in “discovery” we have Something Different featuring music a little more trick to categorise. This is where you’ll find original voices such as Elliot Moss, Fraktal and Aunty Social.
We really hope you find the playlist for you but if you have any suggestions for what we’re missing, let us know!
