In 2017, French guitarist and songwriter Amelie Rousseaux moved from Paris to LA. It would have lasting impact on her music, as exemplified by her new track Get Out Of My Head (alt version), released through her project Sofia Bolt.

The track is very much resident in California, but it’s not all smiles and sunshine. There’s a tension in how Amelie views her surroundings. The guitar-playing is tense and aggressive. The vocals are whispered with a sense of weariness and frustration. I was on the edge of my seat listening to Get Out of My Head and I could not tear my ears away.
