An eerie, electronic opening to the track gives way to bongos and whispered vocals that carry a surprising amount of ferocity. Poetic lyrics act as a rallying call for the queer community under siege from bigotry and health threats.
The video, shot in Brooklyn by an all trans and gender non-conforming crew, features an entirely LGBT cast. It combines eroticism, horror and Thriller-style choreography which, in its unique deadpan way, calls out the absurdity of the tropes associated with each. You can check it out below.
