Tyler Meacham is an Americana singer songwriter from Virginia, USA. Her delicate, melancholy new track Unknowing caught my attention through her emotive vocals and its classic feel.

Unknowing reflects the feelings of uncertainty we have all felt from time to time throughout the last year. It feels like a story of a broken heart but the narrative is broader than that. It unfolds poetically, through image-rich verses and a chorus that feels at breaking point.

Tyler was inspired to write the track after a big change in her life. She had started what she thought was her dream job at Disney in Florida but it didn’t take. Heading back to Virginia, she redoubled her focus on her real passion – music. I think we’re all richer for it.
