Ridi is an electro pop artist whose thoughtful and refreshing song writing sets her apart from her contemporaries.

It’s quite a feat for someone who is so early in her career but Ridi leaves some of her fellow pop artists in the dust with her conspiratorial new track Top Guy. Singing in English and French, Ridi delivers her message of patriarchal control over a subtly epic instrumental arrangement that combines classic and electronic elements. It all comes together to create something utterly sublime.

Of Indian descent and based in Europe, Ridi studied at boarding school in Switzerland. It all adds up to a unique perspective but she’s quick to point out that people can struggle whatever their background. I’m just glad she’s been able to galvanise her own experiences into such fantastic music.
