Anxiety is the new track from New York-based indie pop artist Luna Kat. As the title suggests, it delves into her inner world and the anxious demons that dwell within.

Yet, despite its subject matter, Anxiety is a bright and uplifting track. Constructed from big bass beats, sampled textures and delicate, expressive vocals it gives strong bedroom pop vibes. The honesty and vulnerability of Luna’s song writing makes it incredibly compelling but I stayed for the catchiness of her beats.

Australian-born, Luna grew up between Sydney, Singapore and New York. She released her debut single What’s Love in April this year and I’m impressed by just how good her sound is given how little time has passed since then. She’s definitely one to watch out for.
