Run The Red Light is the kind of driving anthem you might expect from the likes of Bruce Springsteen or perhaps more contemporarily Sam Fender. Sam sets himself apart from those comparisons, however, through floating angelic vocals. The song invites us to think about what holds us back and why.
Sam has two EPs under his belt including this year’s A Second of Love from which the single is taken. With his thoughtful lyrics and crowd-pleasing indie rock sensibilities, I can see him making an impression both here in the UK and further afield. I hope you agree.
