Kind Of is a pensive piece made of plucked acoustic guitar and delicate vocals. What caught my attention the most, though, was its lyrics. They’re so infused with authentic storytelling and self-reflectiveness I couldn’t help but be swept away by them.
Julia is inspired by contemporary singer songwriters like Phoebe Bridgers, Bon Iver and Caroline Polachek and fans of those artists will appreciate Julia’s song writing abilities. A recent graduate of The Clive Davis Institute, Julia is certainly poised for great things if she keeps writing tracks like Kind Of. You can check it out below.
