Charlie O’Brien is a folk singer songwriter who hails from Killarney, Ireland. His thoughtful new track Fire and Foam is a feast of poetry and the unexpected.

Fire and Foam is an unconventional track. Charlie’s vocals are unique and its staccato, experimental instrumentals feel like nothing I’ve heard before. Yet, it all works. Combined with angelic harmonies and jazzy brass, the track envelopes you. The lyrics speak of loss and Charlie’s vocals are suitably morose.
Though new to us, Charlie has released five albums previously. Fire and Foam is the first single from his forthcoming sixth album of the same name. You can hear the single below.
