Drawing on influences from horror movies in both their video and instrumentals, The Amber Bugs juxtapose it with a lively, upbeat tempo and expressive vocals. This isn’t your standard indie rock, with quirkiness and experimentalism abound. Lyrically, it speaks to the duality of all men, and how great achievements often come with a dark side.
