Morning Crush are a British alt folk band who takes their cues from the likes of Billy Bragg, Bright Eyes and Frank Turner. Their latest track, though, owes its origins to Bob Dylan and his My Back Pages. It’s called Endless Kid.
By Graeme Smith
From the first few lines of Endless Kid, I knew I had to share it. Morning Crush have got a way with words that is so vanishingly rare in music and they’re able to make powerful points with very little. Reflecting on the current state of Britain and all our roles in it, Endless Kid is the best piece of modern folk I’ve heard for awhile.
The track is taken from their debut EP Brand New House, set for release on 26 November. You can hear Endless Kid below.
