Maria Karakusheva is a Bulgarian pianist and composer who I first discovered last month through her delicate piece Love Is Art. Her latest has a touch of drama about it. It’s called Lagrange Points.

The track comes complete with a live performance video as was the case with Love Is Art. Maria’s playing is such a joy to watch and Lagrange Points is a piece with so many twists and turns it will have you on the edge of your seat.
Both pieces are taken from Maria’s first contemporary classical solo album Hearteclipse which was released in 2019. These live versions are breathing new life into Maria’s music and I’m grateful for them. If it weren’t for them, I may never have discovered her.
