By Graeme Smith
When My Phone Dies has a confessional feel to it. It paints a picture of a world without distraction, and the fear and uncertainty that comes with it. Rachel brings the feeling to life through emotive imagery and vocals that ooze charisma.
Though now based in NYC, Rachel previously spent two years here in the UK studying audio production in London. Her sound is influenced by the likes of James Blake, Sufjan Stevens and Léon. Fans of those artists will find a lot to love from When My Phone Dies. You can check it out below.
