Bailey Tompkinson is a St. Ives-based singer songwriter who I discovered for the blog at the end of last year. I was hardly early to the party though; she was already being talked about by national newspapers at the time. It’s not surprising given her charming and authentic approach to country and Americana. Her latest is called The Last Glimpse.

The Last Glimpse is a big-feeling piece of honky-tonk rock that sits somewhere between pure country and Springsteen-style stadium rock. Perhaps what’s most striking about the track is its lyrics.
