Picture The Scene are a London-based rock act who have been blowing up on the national stage, but this is our first time sharing their music. Their latest, and their fourth single in six months, is called Goodbye.
By Graeme Smith
If you like your rock music stadium-filling with an edge then look no further than Goodbye. The riffs are big, the drums hard-hitting and the vocals gritty. A revved-up verse gives way to an overcharged chorus that you could easily see a crowd singing along to. I wasn’t surprised to learn the band often use it as a set-ender.
Lyrically, the track alludes to guilt and anger but ultimately it feels cathartic. It’s a way of letting go and bursting through. If that feels your type of thing today, check out Goodbye below.
