EDIE is a Perth, Australia based pop rock artist who has burst onto my radar through her anthem for the underestimated Blame Me.

When penning Blame Me, EDIE was inspired by ’90s rock. As such, it’s got something of a throwback feel to it. Yet, EDIE’s emotive vocals feel bang up to date, as do her take-no-prisoners lyrics. They speak of youthful malaise and relationship breakdowns. Overriding it all though is a hopeful energy – mistakes come and go but the best is yet to come.

Blame Me is 22-year-old EDIE’s debut single. Based on its vibrant evidence, I suspect there’ll be plenty more to come from her. I can’t wait to hear what she does next! You can check out the track below.
