Glass Heart String Choir are an American folk duo who Jane first discovered for the blog last autumn through their beautiful track Wounds. Now it’s my turn to run the rule over their latest. It’s called Divinity.
By Graeme Smith
What captured me most about Divinity was its wonderfully poetic lyrics. It casts romance and relationships in an entirely new light, steeped in imagery and genuine emotion. The story is told against a backdrop of classical strings which builds to a cinematic climax in the chorus. The song is, to a tee, flawless.
You won’t hear much out there like Glass Heart String Choir, and we are always richer for such uniqueness in the world of music. You can listen to Divinity below.
