We’ve covered a couple of Norwegian rock duo Ask Carol’s tracks, most recently their tale of being an outsider Quiet One last month. Now they’re back with another, chock full of humour, irony and social commentary. It’s called Mountains of Cash.

Mountains of Cash opens with distorted guitar and high energy. The percussion is rousing and vocals full of expression. The whole thing feels like a march, one that sweeps aside the pretentions of modern Capitalism in favour of something a little more human.
The track is the 3rd single from Ask Carol’s forthcoming debut album, which is set for release 26 August. On the evidence so far, the album is going to be a corker. You can check out Mountains of Cash below.
