Rocket Me High opens with an instrumental arrangement that combines classical, folk and electronic arrangements. The result is something that feels both atmospheric and unique. I was instantly intrigued, but what kept me listening was Tilda’s passionate, expressive vocals and her poetic lyrics. You’ll not hear much like Rocket Me High and it’s all the better for it.
The track is taken from Tilda’s forthcoming EP IKIGAI, a Japanese term that means ‘reason for being’. It’s clear that Tilda dives deep with her music. I can’t wait to hear more from her. I hope you’ll agree. You can check out Rocket Me High below.
