Hailing from New York, USA, Fat Trout Trailer Park are an alternative rock duo who have caught my attention through their anti-capitalist new track Belt.
By Graeme Smith
Belt is the kind of track that slaps you across the face from the off. A big, fuzzy guitar riff sets the scene, evolving into a driving groove onto which urgent vocals are poured. Brighter bass notes join the party, adding some fantastic texture. Fans of Death From Above 1979 will find a lot to love about Belt.
It’s the first single to be released from the pair’s forthcoming second EP Florida, set for release in the autumn. Having already caught the attention of NME and BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, they definitely ones to watch. You can check out Belt below.
