The Band Ice Cream are a Los Angeles, USA-based acoustic rock outfit who deliver the auditory equivalent of a long, deep breathe with their new track Net Positive.

Net Positive is quite unlike anything I’ve heard before. It combines acoustic folk and DIY rock elements to create something that isn’t quite either. The vocals are expressive and the lyrics poetic, and the end result is something that’s both incredibly intriguing while proving very easy on the ears.

Before our discovering of them, The Band Ice Cream have released two LPs and shared stages with cult legends Sunflower Beam and Japandroids. They’re also about to go out on tour with Play Dead and are promising a new album in December. It’s time to jump in The Band Ice Cream van. You can check out Net Positive below.
