Blue Coffee are a Marseille, France-based alternative rock group who have caught my attention through their beautifully melodic new track Last Dance.

Opening with a looping riff and gentle drums, Last Dance is the kind of track that feels like an instant classic. It channels indie rock influences of the last thirty years, with touches of Britpop and emo swirling together to form something that feels fresh and unique. The cherry on the top is the expressive vocals, weaving a tale of heartache and triumph.
Blue Coffee were formed as the silver lining of an unfortunate bereavement, lending weight to the theory that everything happens for a reason. From tragedy comes something truly exciting. I can’t wait to hear more from them. You can check out Last Dance below.
