Rivals are an American pop rock band that have graced the pages of this blog a few times before. Now they’re back with another hard-hitting emo banger. It’s called Bleeding Star.

Rivals always brings the energy and emotion to their music, yet every track of theirs I’ve heard is beautiful in its own way. Bleeding Star has a dramatic groove, underlaid by percussion and electronic elements. The star of the show is, as always, the powerful vocals of frontwoman Kalie Wolfe, and the chorus will leave you reeling.

The band are currently out on tour in the States so if you’re on that side of the pond be sure to catch them. If their live show brings the same energy as their recorded music, you’ll be in for a treat.
