Helen is an American pop and R&B artist who has featured on our blog once before through her wonderfully contemplative track Morals. Now’s she back with a new one that’s equally philosophical. It’s called Talk.

Talk explores society’s attitudes towards women who are confident. It’s often painted in the negative in a effort to keep women quiet. Helen rails against this attitude, speaking unapologetically about her desires and talents. The message is delivered through a chilled vibe, whispered yet powerful vocals and an infectious groove.

It’s another great track from an artist who knows who she is and isn’t afraid to express herself. I’m definitely becoming a fan and I hope you will be too. You can check out Talk below.
