Stuart Bruce is a Northampton-based pop rock artist who takes his musical cues from the likes of Santigold, Mew and Bon Iver. His new track Has The Feeling Faded? has got him on my radar.

Has The Feeling Faded? starts in a dreamy sort of way. It gradually builds to a groove, with percussion, glitchy electronics and delicate vocals. Genre-wise, it’s difficult to put in a box, but it’s all the better for it. All I can say for sure is that it’ll make you feel alive, especially when it hits its dramatic crescendo of a chorus.

Stuart has in the past struggled with his music and was on the verge of giving it up. Yet, a diagnosis of ADHD has helped him unleash his creativity. I, for one, am glad he didn’t pack it in before I discovered him. I hope you’ll agree. You can check out Has The Feeling Faded? below.
