Gloomy June have featured on our blog a few times now since Jane discovered them for us back in April. They truly have a knack for creating memorable indie pop rock songs. Their latest sees them doing something slightly different though, treating us to a cover of Metric’s Black Sheep.

The track is probably best-known for its placement on the soundtrack of the ’00s cult film Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Here, Gloomy June really put their stamp on it thanks to their vibrant playing and characteristic vocals.
Gloomy June spent the summer touring North America and are currently in the process of writing their next EP, a follow up to York Calling favourite Popsick.
