What a year it’s been for Madison Beer. Off the back of 2021’s debut album Life Support, she’s been riding high, and this summer accumulated in an emotional and triumphant first-time appearance at Reading and Leeds Festival (yours truly was in the crowd at Leeds). The year’s not over yet, though, and she’s just released her latest single and video, Showed Me (How I Fell In Love With You.)

Showed Me sees Madison push her sound into territory previously unexplored by her. She’s always had a penchant for classic song writing, but Showed Me sees her wander into early rock and roll influences. The melody is instantly catchy and, as ever, her vocals are utterly beautiful.

The track debuted on BBC Radio 1 recently and I suspect we’ll be hearing a lot of it. You can check out its high stakes video below.
