Sam the Woo is a New York City, USA-based avant-garde bedroom pop artist who has just hit my radar thanks to her new self-produced single Inhibitions.

Inhibitions is a track that Sam wrote, composed, sang and produced herself, and it feels suitably personal and cohesive. She combines experimental influences with ground-breaking pop to create something uniquely hers. The result is something impossible to categorise but absolutely a joy to listen to.
The track is taken from Sam’s forthcoming EP Hungry Appetite, which also promises to be a personal journey through Sam’s efforts for self-ownership. Her sound is so fresh, I honestly can’t wait to hear more from her.
