Ellie Moon is an indie pop artist who as born in Liverpool, raised in Madrid and now calls North London home. She’s previously received praise for her quirky and humorous lyrics and her latest track and video is no exception. It’s called Don’t Date Me.

Don’t Date Me opens with a groovy bass line which accompanies Ellie’s expressive vocals. Telling tales of love that is at its wits end, she throws back the break-up clichés are her anonymous beau all while turning some of the anger at herself. It’s a subtle and powerful emotional cocktail which distinguishes Ellie from all the one-note pop out there.
