DENSE are a Leeds-based heavy rock outfit who we’ve been following since 2018, having caught them playing live at The Fulford Arms. Fossilised is their latest single, out today.

DENSE’s music combines heavy fuzz with delicate compositions to create something that feels truly unique. Fair warning, it’s not for the faint-hearted but if you like rock that grabs you by the shoulders and gives you a sobering slap across the face, you won’t go far wrong with Fossilised. A primordial scream of a song, it catalogues modern perils like austerity, climate change and conservative regression.
