Anto Cossu is a London-based Italian musician and composer. Along with guitarist Antonio Perry and drummer Dave Roberts, the trio form Anto Dust whose sound incorporates dream pop and cinematic sensibilities. They’ve just hit my radar thanks to their first single in two years. It’s called A Larkin.

A Larkin is a tribute to the poet of the same name, and as such has a suitably poetic feel to it. A low but rich instrumental arrangement opens the piece before Anto’s delicate and distinguished vocals float in. It’s such a soothing track, and its sweeping chorus could easily wash your troubles away.

Anto Dust have a new album on the way, created in collaboration with Rihanna and Ariana Grande producer Parker Ighile. I, for one, can’t wait to hear more from Anto. I hope you’ll agree. You can check out A Larkin below.
