Sounds Like Lily, real name Lily Mackay, was raised in France but now called Devon her home. Her latest single is a dream pop wonder that caught my attention thanks to her amazing vocals. It’s called The Feeling.

There’s an instantly soothing feel about The Feeling. A laidback, stripped-back instrumental arrangement sets the early tone before soulful vocals come in. Ostensibly it’s a love song but the vocals make it feel like something sacred.

This is the third single from eighteen-year-old Lily. Though early in her recording career, there’s a maturity to her sound that defies her age. Her debut EP is to follow next month and I can’t wait to hear it. In the meantime, you can check out The Feeling below.
