Axis Neptune is a Scarborough-based musician and producer who has just caught my attention thanks to his new, introspective single Solar.

Solar is an electro pop track that incorporates elements of jazz, soul and experimentation. It’s got a steady but pensive groove about it, reflecting its lyrics that speak of the fleeting nature of life. Though it digs deep, the overriding vibe is joyful, and the soaring chorus will take you to another plane.

It’s great to discover such a great artist from just up the road on the Yorkshire coast. I’ll certainly be keeping an eye on him as his career progresses.
